A Silent Voice

my experience with a silent voice has been mostly hearing it in recommendation. However I have coincidentally seen scenes from it and I didnt know that what i was watching were scenes from A Silent Voice. In fact I only realized when I started reading it for this class. I think the work provides a good take on the actions you take affecting others. Being character driven, most of its impact comes out of interactions and emotions. And an emotional roller coaster. One scene in particular is in chapter 10 when Shoya's mother is confronting him about trying to commit suicide. She confronts him in a very expressive manner that shows her underlying love for her son.
