Oishinbo

Gourmet manga and anime has always been recommended to me but i've never taken the leap into this genre. Oishinbo After reading a little bit, I was not expecting the story to pick up such an interesting conflict. I think the reason I've been hesitant with Gourmet anime like Toriko and Food Wars is because I wasn't able to imagine a solid compelling story when they were recommended to me. However, OIshinbo with the first chapter alone had me very invested. The father and son conflict is well told and interesting and the dialogue between characters is all it needed to draw me in. The way the dishes are explained is also compelling.
